Since we are family, Thea Ceramic's did a custom glaze, only available here at Mt Atkinson. Torea Pango is the Te Reo Maori word for the oystercatcher, Haematopus unicolor - a sea-coast wading bird slightly larger than the pied oystercatcher, with black-and-white or all-black plumage and a strong orange-red bill. Hangs around at our local, Titirangi beach.
Flat white tumblers around 9.5cm high and around 8oz in volume.
Latte tumblers around 11cm high and around 12oz in volume.
Do take note that brutalist clay shrinks less then cream stoneware so these tumblers are slightly larger.
The pieces are double dipped in a smooth matte glaze, and finished with a raw clay base. Please note that sizing is approximate as all items are hand thrown. The tumbler colour is matte dark grey/black.
All products are oven and dishwasher safe.
