The Tannery hand painted signage
The hand painted signage at the front of the Tannery is up and looking awesome. Hand painted sign writing is what some would call an out of date practice as it is all graphically designed and printed nowadays; however the ascetic appeal of the painted work looks amazing and almost ties in the history of the it being working tannery to the cafe today.
Rick and Marcus from Signmax did a great job. Hand painted work takes a very long time but these two were more than happy to get back to how they were taught to do signs. Check them out at www.signmax.co.nz, they also do the graphic design stuff also.
